Shelly Park is a large park adjacent to the Esplanade Walkway on the Cronulla Peninsula, adjoining Shelly Park Ocean Pool.
Shelly Park is a great option for parents with younger children. It has a large grassed area, barbecues for public use and a large fenced playground with multiple play areas and a liberty swing, making Shelly Park a popular location for birthday parties and picnics. There is a kiosk and a restaurant across the road. Accessible walkways run through the park.
Barbecues and shelters are available on a first come first served basis. There is a hot coal bin (view map - PDF - 603 KB) for the safe disposal of hot coals from portable coal barbecues.
Dogs on-leash are allowed on the walkways and in the park. Dogs are prohibited within 10m of the fenced playground.
