Meeting of Two Cultures
A significant moment in modern Australian history is acknowledged with the staging of Council’s ‘Meeting of Two Cultures’ event, marking the anniversary of the first contact between Europeans and the First Nations peoples of Australia’s east coast.
Join us for a day of connection as we commemorate the Meeting of Two Cultures, where Lt James Cook and his HM Endeavour crew made first contact with the Dharawal community.
