Application tracker

Follow the steps below for applications that are currently on exhibition.

• Access the application tracker home page at this link
• At the home page, type in the Application ID number (the DA number), which will allow you to access the application’s webpage. This DA number is available on your notification letter, or the site sign.
• Alternatively, enter the property address.
• At the application’s webpage:
  • Read the various application documents at the Documents link
  • Make a submission by clicking on the Make a submission link.

• There is no obligation on you to make a submission to Council.
• However, should you wish to object to the proposed development, you should clearly specify the grounds of your objection.
• To assist our planners, it would be helpful if your submission is clear and concise.
• As the Assessing Officer will carry out a detailed assessment of the proposal against the relevant development controls, your submission does not need to address each development control in detail.
• Instead, your submission can instead focus on clearly explaining how the proposal will affect or benefit you and your property.

We have a responsibility to consider a range of environmental and social considerations, as set out in the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, the Sutherland Shire Local Environmental Plan 2015 and other planning controls.

This includes any comments or submissions received by Council when determining a development application.

In making its final decision, Council must balance the interests of the community, the reasonable expectations and rights of the applicant and any other considerations imposed by legislation.
