Sutherland Shire has three purpose-built tracks for BMX and mountain bike riders. These tracks are free to use and suitable for riders of all ages and abilities. You can also ride your bike on fire trails and on NSW National Parks cycling routes or mountain bike trails.
Recommended tracks in the Royal National Park include Loftus loop trail, a 10km mountain bike ride sure to get your heart pumping, and Lady Carrington Drive, an historic track near Audley that follows the river.
Sometimes people create informal bike jumps in public parks and reserves. Council monitors unauthorised jumps for public safety risk and environmental damage.
