Calling all green thumbs. We're celebrating 50 years of nuturing native flora and the environment!
Come along to our Community Nursery Open Day to browse the extensive range of local plant species.
- Ask our knowledgeable staff and volunteers about plants or the unique features of our nursery - we source our plants through seed and cuttings collected by staff and Bushcare volunteers, making them perfect for local gardens.
- Purchase plants or redeem your free native seedlings voucher from your July rates notice (bring a bag/box to carry them, and don't forget we’re ‘cashless’).
- Talk to our waste services staff about local recycling programs.
- Learn about the volunteer Bushcare program's 30 years of achievements restoring bushland reserves throughout Sutherland Shire.
- View a Council EV (electric vehicle) and talk to our Sustainability Officer.
