Applications include work such as:
- the use of a roadway for construction purposes or the loading and unloading of vehicles

Hoardings
Apply to fence off or separate and area from a public space to facilitate works, including installing or replacing shop front signage or awnings.

Apply to open, excavate or bore into a public road or footpath to undertake public utility service connections or works (i.e connect stormwater, sewer, temporary de-watering etc) .

This application is for people who wish to use Council land to :

We take approx. 6 – 12 months to work with you and assess the application and variable fees will apply.

Each year we invite artists and groups to submit proposals for three-week exhibitions in the Broadhurst Gallery, a high-profile exhibition space within Hazelhurst Arts Centre.

Our bushcare volunteers help care for more than 110 bushland reserves and support our nursery team in planning, propagating and identifying native plants - both essential to restoring and preserving Sutherland Shire's natural environment.
Beaches and waterways
Our Ocean Safety Lifeguards team offer school programs in beach safety as well as also providing lifeguard bookings for water safety, community picnics, events, and surf safety talks.
