Sandy Point Reserve, adjoining the Georges River foreshore and Georges River National Park, is a leafy bushland reserve with plenty of room for recreational play.

The playground was comprehensively renewed in 2021 with new equipment, undersurfacing. and updated picnic facilities and seating.

The playground features state-of-the-art play equipment with a double storey tower, a double slide and new connecting accessible timber “play bridge” with activity panels that connects to the giant nest swing and toddler and junior swings. Synthetic grass runs throughout most of the playground, providing accessible play opportunities.

There is one accessible parking space at the front of the community centre.  Access to the playground is via a gate at the rear of the community centre.

The adjoining Sandy Point Community Centre has an accessible toilet next to the squash court.  No MLAK key is required.  Toilets are only available when the Community Centre is in use.
