Highlights of our 26/27 Operational Plan
Highlights of our 26/27 Operational Plan include:
- starting roll-out of a new waste service - Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO)
- upgrading Burnum Burnum Sanctuary Car Park
- continuing to transform Seymour Shaw Park in Miranda
- upgrading Heathcote Oval and Engadine Leisure Centre
- remediating the Ferntree Reserve Landslip
- upgrading Gymea Bay Baths Reserve
- a new park for Caringbah Town Centre.
Councillors’ strategic priorities
As part of preparing the 2025–2029 Delivery Program, our Councillors identified the following priorities for delivery over the next four years:
- Building vibrant, liveable and productive town centres
- Protecting and responsibly maintaining our waterways and stormwater resources
- Sport and leisure precincts that encourage healthy, active lifestyles
- Managing housing and development to meet the community’s needs
- Addressing the challenges of roads, traffic and parking and impacts on our communities.
