Gifts and Benefits Register

Council is bound by the following four Codes of Conduct:

Our Codes of Conduct advise that Council staff and Councillors must declare gifts, benefits or hospitality in the following situations:

  1. when money, gift cards, lotteries, credit cards or other ‘cash-like’ gifts are offered
  2. when a gift or benefit of more than $50.00 is offered
  3. when a staff member who has been issued delegations by the Chief Executive Officer, receives any offer of a gift, regardless of value, i.e. includes token gifts, or
  4. when a Councillor receives any offer of a gift, regardless of value, i.e. includes token gifts.
