Clare joined Sutherland Shire Council in 2019, bringing with her a wealth of experience as a local government executive. With over 20 years’ experience working in regional and metropolitan Councils across Australia, Clare has extensive capabilities in corporate strategy, financial management and business improvement.
Clare has previously worked as a Director of Corporate Services in regional NSW and interstate councils and, in recent years, held several senior corporate management roles at Wollongong City Council. Clare holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Business Leadership, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is also a Certified Practicing Accountant.
