Council also provides grants for original publications documenting the heritage of Sutherland Shire.

These grants support conservation work on heritage-listed buildings or heritage publication projects.

Key information

Heritage Building Grants are drawn from a shared pool of $30,000 and are provided to successful applicants on a dollar-for-dollar basis.

Heritage Publication Grants may be awarded up to $5,000.

Applications have closed for 2022-23.

Who is eligible for a Heritage Grant?

Building Grants: Owners of heritage buildings listed in Schedule 5 of the Sutherland Shire Local Environmental Plan 2015.
