Local Strategic Planning Statement

The Local Strategic Planning Statement - PDF - 32774 KB (LSPS) sets out Sutherland Shire’s long-term land-use planning vision.

The LSPS - along with the Local Environmental Plan (LEP) and Development Control Plan (DCP) - will evolve over time to meet community needs.

The LSPS:

• outlines our values and the unique characteristics of our area
• provides a 20-year vision for land use
• identifies planning priorities and actions to support the vision
• identifies where further strategic planning will be required
• describes how future growth and change will be managed
• builds on the South District Plan (where relevant).
