Sutherland Shire Council supports and encourages the display of goods on the footway as a means of creating a vibrant streetscape and opportunities for businesses to activate their shop front.

To apply for permission for a business to use Council's footpaths for shopfront displays, you should complete a Shopfront Display Permit Application with the following information:

  • A plan showing the proposed shopfront display area.
  • A copy of your current public liability insurance certificate for a minimum cover of $10 million.
