Seniors Service Directory
Sutherland Shire is a unique community with a collective vision for a connected and safe community that respects people and nature, enjoying active lives in a strong local economy. We want all people in the Sutherland Shire to live more vibrant, healthy, active and happy lives as they age by creating a local environment that supports our seniors to live longer and better than before. Making sure that people have current and relevant information is essential.
This directory aims to provide information to ensure people can access transport, housing, care and support, and community groups, together with activities and events that will enable them to remain independent, engaged and included. The information in this directory is not exhaustive. More information on community services, government organisations and social groups in Sutherland Shire can be found in the Community Directory.

Seniors Reference Group (SRG)
The role of the SRG is to provide a forum for engagement between older residents and to address and advance issues for older people within the Sutherland Shire. The SRG will act as an advisory committee for Council and provide a platform to volunteer to help deliver Council programs, activities, events and information for older people. If you are interested in becoming a member of Council’s Seniors Reference Group please email email@example.com.
Seniors Festival is our chance to thank, celebrate and recognise seniors for the positive contributions they make to the community through hosting a range of different activities that they can enjoy with other like-minded residents.
