Youth Survey 2022
In 2022, our local young people told us how they find life in the Sutherland Shire and what they want for the future. Young people shared what they like, or would improve, about their local area and how COVID-19 has impacted their lifestyle.
Youth Reference Group (YRG)
The role of the Youth Reference is to ensure that young people in the Sutherland Shire are able to express their views and to provide advice to Council and community organisations on the needs of and issues affecting young people in the Sutherland Shire. It is also an opportunity to develop an appreciation within the community of young people, their contribution to the local area and the issues concerning them.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Council’s Youth Reference Group please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Youth Week is an opportunity for young people to get involved with their community, share their ideas and views on issues important to them and create and enjoy a variety of events and activities together. Youth Week is designed for young people of all abilities!
Youth Week 2023 will be held from 20th - 30th of April 2023. More information coming soon.
