The water depth around the Scylla Bay boat ramp is very shallow and these conditions extend from the toe of the boat ramp to 50m offshore. The shallow conditions mean that the boat ramp does not provide access at low tides and is most suited to shallow draft vessels. Please consider the tide times when using the boat ramp and avoid launching or retrieving your boat during low tide.
