Located in the centre of Heathcote, this popular local reserve has grassed areas, landscaped gardens beds and shady mature trees.  The reserve is fully fenced.

The playground was renewed in 2022 with new play equipment for a range of ages and abilities.  Paved pathways run through the reserve and synthetic softfall provides access to the play equipment.

Play equipment includes climbing fort with slide, activity panels, nature-based play, swings, spinner and stepping logs.  Facilities within the reserve includes picnic seating and toilets.

The reserve includes a monument to commemorate the first military wireless transmission in Australia. This historic event, which took place in Heathcote on 28 March 1910, was a momentous scientific achievement, and ultimately proved to be of great practical benefit to the Australian military during World War One.
