We, Future Leaders - Tutoring & Mentoring (WFL) is a newly established tutoring and mentoring company in Taren Point that is already employing 35 locals.
Darian Brooker, WFL’s Founding Director, says “Setting up WFL in the Shire has allowed us to stay close to home and create meaningful connections with families and other business owners.”
WFL offers 1:1, small group, and whole school learning opportunities for local and regional students, from pre-school to university.
The Sutherland Shire business has already been recognised with many awards, including the 2021 NSW Young Woman of the Year, the 2022 NSW/ACT 7NEWS Young Achiever of the Year, and the 2022 Youth Partnership – Host Employer of the Year award for Business Services.
Darian says that by providing exceptional tutoring and mentoring WFL ultimately improves confidence and academic outcomes. She explains, “Our unique and holistic approach to learning integrates mentoring to nourish every child’s development.”
Darian recommends the Shire to other business owners. “The Sutherland Shire is such a supportive and cohesive community.” She also advises local budding entrepreneurs, “I strongly encourage anyone starting a business to not do it alone! Join networking organisations such as the Business Chamber to seek support when you need it.”
