Holly tan and white staffy

Sex:  Female

Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Age: 2

Ref: 11946

Holly has been at the animal shelter since 9/12/23

Holly is a smart girl and needs an owner with a secure property to keep her safe. Holly has a knack for being able to open lever door handles so if you have doors like this be aware, if they are not locked, Holly could work her magic to get to the other side.

Holly loves interactive toys like her slow feeder, snuffle mats and kongs and she loves a game of tug of war. Holly also loves a good stuffed toy, but unfortunately they don’t always last long in her presence.

Holly would be better suited to a home without cats and pocket pets. Unfortunately Holly was adopted and returned to the shelter due to her fixation with their cats. Holly was able to clear baby gates separating her from the resident cats and was making the cats feel stressed and unhappy. Holly never attempted to do anything to the cats and was non reactive if they swiped her. Holly was just extremely curious about them.

Holly got along like a house on fire with the resident dog, however it was noted Holly could be selective with some dogs she met on walks. Holly would benefit from some further training to help address this. Holly would need a meet and greet with any resident dog before adoption to ensure they are both happy with each other.

Please reach out if you would like to get to know Holly and give her another chance at a forever home.

The cost of dogs for adoption from Sutherland Shire Council Animal Shelter range from $325.00 to $399.00.
The price includes microchip, lifetime registration, de-sexing, first vaccination and vet check, worm and flea treated and a collar and council tag.
