Shark Sighting at Bonna Point, Kurnell

People are being warned not to enter the water off the Kurnell Peninsular and to prevent their dogs from swimming at the off leash beach at Bonna Point following an incident yesterday evening during which a dog was taken by a shark.

A state-wide food shortage is affecting flying foxes in the Sutherland Shire. At present there are approximately 12,000 flying-foxes at the Kareela camp and 600 at the Camellia Gardens.
