Prepare for your visit
To help our guides connect with students, we encourage the use of name tags where possible.
Please see our Social Story for students who may benefit from additional preparation. A sensory space is available throughout the visit for any students who need it.
For smooth program delivery:
- Full-day programs: please divide students into three groups
- Half-day programs: please divide students into two groups
Gallery guidelines
To ensure the safety of students, visitors, and artworks, please observe the following guidelines during your visit:
- Do not touch artworks and maintain a safe distance at all times
- Walk at all times; running is not permitted in gallery spaces
- No food or drink permitted in gallery spaces
- Pencils only may be used in the gallery (no pens or markers)
- Students must remain with their teacher or supervising adult at all times
- No flash photography
- Do not lean on walls or display cases
- Be mindful of noise levels and other visitors
- Large bags are not permitted in gallery spaces
Arrival information
Bus drop-off is located on the Kingsway, outside the Hazelhurst Arts Centre Gates.
To help manage personal belongings, storage tubs will be provided in the gallery foyer. We ask that each student places their belongings into the crate labelled with one of the following names:
- KNGWARREYE
- O’KEEFE
- TANGO
Please note that cancellation of a booking within two weeks of an excursion will attract a cancellation fee of 25% of the minimum fee.
