The weekend's system outage overran the scheduled window by several hours. Customers who tried logging into their account via the Library App or Catalogue on Sunday may have encoutered problems. Usage of the library's digital collections, Borrowbox, Hoopla, etc., may also have been impacted.
In addition, no email notices were sent over the weekend regarding overdue loans or holds that are ready to collect. If you have books on loan or have items from the library collection on reserve, please check your account in the App or the library catalogue to check their status.

Essential system maintenance is being undertaken on the library's software system starting at 10:00PM on Saturday, 24 October 2026. We expect the upgrade to take about 8 hours, during which time our systems will be offline.
During this maintenance window all library services will be unavailable to library customers. Members will not be able to access their library account via the library catalogue or the library app, and reserving or borrowing ebooks, eaudiobooks and other digital collections will not be possible.
We thank you for your patience while we undertake this work.
Extended opening hours at Cronulla Library on Thursdays in October
To support students undertaking the HSC in 2026, Cronulla Library will remain open until 8pm on Thursdays during October.
Normal closing time of 5:00pm on Thursdays will resume from 5 November 2026.
