Presented by Sutherland Shire Environmental Citizen of Year 2023 and World Ocean Day Youth Advisory Council Member, Kal Glanznig, this interactive workshop will focus on the threats facing the ocean, what’s being done to remedy this and how you can help.
Kal will be diving into the three major threats facing the global ocean, which include plastic, climate change (warming and acidification) and exploitation (overfishing and oil/gas/mineral exploitation), as well as how these issues affect waterways in the Sutherland Shire.
There will be plenty of time to ask any simmering questions you may have throughout the workshop, so we can work together to save our seas!
