In its ongoing commitment to raising awareness and empowering vulnerable communities to access care and support, Sutherland Shire Council has collaborated with artist Freya Jobbins and The Family Co to produce this exhibition. The collaborative artworks in this exhibition were made during a workshop with south west Sydney based artist Freya Jobbins and the staff at The Family Co. who work daily with victims of domestic violence in the Sutherland Shire.
This exhibition is part of the ‘16 days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence’ UN Women's annual international campaign, starting on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on 25 November, until Human Rights Day on 10 December.
