Join us for an introduction to beekeeping, how bees contribute to our food and environment, and how you can support our native bees!

This free all-ages talk is a part of our World Environment Day series and will be conducted by the Illawarra Beekeepers Association in conjunction with the Sutherland Shire Council's Environmental Science team.

  • Morning tea will be provided for a gold coin donation.
  • Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • This is a free event but bookings are essential through Eventbrite only.
  • The session is limited to 50 people only, and the venue is fully accessible.
  • Places are limited first come first serve, please arrive 10 minutes prior to the session.
  • Photos for promotional purposes may be taken. Please let us know if you do not wish to be photographed on the day.
