Friendship Reserve is popular with local families in Illawong. It was upgraded in 2019 with new play equipment including basket swing and climbing wall, extended scooter/small bike path and shade sails.
The play equipment caters for children from toddler age up to 10-12 year olds. The playground has been designed with integrated challenges for young children to develop their fine and gross motor skills including balancing, climbing, swinging and rocking.
