Family Day Care is nurturing, safe and fun. With only four children in care in the Educator's own home, it mirrors the warmth and security of a family environment.
About Shamsad
My service has been operating for more than 25 years. During this time I have provided high quality education and care to more than 170 local children.
My Family Day Care journey began after moving to Australia many years ago with my young family. I relished the opportunity to use my early childhood skills and experience as a preschool teacher in my native Bangladesh.
Within my service I enjoy strong and collaborative connections with families. Some of them have even attended my own children’s weddings!
It’s always rewarding to reconnect with former customers in the local area. Mums and dads stop me to proudly reintroduce their children I cared for as babies. It is satisfying to know that in some way I contributed to the wonderful adults they have become.
I am a mother to two well-mannered and kind adult children. These two qualities are so important in life. I hope all the children in my service learn these qualities I model for them every day.

About my service
My service provides children with a warm, caring and quality learning environment. My aim is to promote the children's love of learning.
I welcome family involvement in my service. Parents share their children’s interests for building into our daily curriculum. I work with each family to ensure their child experiences quality learning every day.
I focus on teaching children all-important social skills needed for the school playground such as learning to share, taking turns and working together.
The children enjoy a wonderful variety of play-based learning experiences. We love to read, sing songs, share stories, create music and experience culture. Sporting activities to build gross motor skills and arts and crafts are also very popular.
The children in my service enjoy a warm and nurturing environment. It is a happy, fun and engaging place for them to learn and grow.
About my facilities
My service is conveniently located off the Princes Highway in Sylvania. It is less than one minute’s drive from this main road.
We love spending time in our spacious outdoors. The natural grassed area is perfect for games, climbing, water play and gardening fun.
Our large covered area provides ample shade and is a wonderful space for group time, quiet play, reading, craft and drawing.
