Family Day Care is nurturing, safe and fun. With only four children in care in the Educator's own home, it mirrors the warmth and security of a family environment.

About Brooke

For as long as I can remember, I knew I wanted to work with young children. Since the age of 14, I have provided both paid and voluntary care and education to children.

After earning my Diploma in 2002, I worked in Early Education Centres until the arrival of my second child in 2015.

With two young children, I decided on Family Day Care as a professional option for my growing family.

Family Day Care allows me to care for my own beautiful school age children, whilst also applying my early childhood expertise in a professional setting.

About my service

I provide children with a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.  They learn at their own pace through a combination of spontaneous play and intentional teaching, based on their individual interests and needs.

Our program reflects the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework. This is the only Australian Government approved framework for children under school age.

From the day your child starts care, they are developing the skills they will need to thrive at school. In my service the children take part in a school readiness program in their year before school.

My service provides a range of consumables every day, including tissues, gloves, wipes, bed linen, blankets, wraps and bibs.

My service is called ‘Wise and Wonderful’. I believe that with positive influence, correct teaching and enough love, children can grow into Wise and Wonderful humans. And isn’t that what we all want for our children?

“Brooke is the best Educator I’ve ever come across in all the years of having my three children in care.  She is the most caring, loving, organised and respectful person I know. Any child in her care is getting the best care.”

"Brooke is calm, patient, attentive, fun and organised. She gains the children’s attention, can easily distract and redirect and follows through on tasks set out for the children. She also has enough flexibility and creativity to change the plan when needed."

"Brooke is an amazing Educator. Her ability to create wonderful learning experiences which engage children of all ages and abilities is outstanding.”
