Environment and location

Our centre is opposite Jannali Public School and a short walk to Jannali train station. Residential street parking is ideal for parents who commute to work via train.

Our prime location allows for regular walking excursions, including to the local primary school.

Community is at the heart of our centre. Families provide input into the children's programs. Some join us to share holiday photos and enjoy 'read to me' days.

Spacious outdoors

Our playground is one of the biggest in any childcare service. If your child loves lots of space to run and play, Soldiers Road is perfect for them!

Children spend hours in our vast 'outdoor classroom'. They love the nature pathways and natural surrounds, our sailing boat, musical equipment, slides, sandpit, cubby house and more.

Our covered verandah is ideal for meals, arts, crafts and messy play all year round!

Our team

Our Centre Director has almost 30 years’ experience. She leads our kind and experienced team.

We care about each child's education, emotional wellbeing and health. We support parents with their child's needs and goals, including school readiness, social skills, toilet training and more.

Each day we share and explore children’s interests and ways to extend learning. Our team is passionate about a curriculum that connects children and their families to the land and promotes cultural awareness of Australia's First Peoples.

We also have a strong passion for sustainability and community engagement.

Testimonials

‘Our children have been valued as individuals during our six years at Soldiers Road. They are resilient, feel loved and safe, and are well prepared for big school.’

‘People say 'you have done so well to bring up such a polite and well-adjusted kid'. I have to share that credit with the Soldiers Road team. You have all played a part in allowing her to grow, learn and become the young girl she is today. I never wanted childcare to be about forming letters and drawing shapes. I wanted it to be about forming relationships and respecting people and the environment. And you have delivered this in monumental ways.’

‘Just seeing how well my son has settled in, to what he has learnt since he started, is absolutely amazing. He can’t wait to get there every morning and seeing the biggest smile on his face brightens my day every time.’
