Dunningham Park, Cronulla

Location: Cronulla cnr Eloura Road and the Kingsway View on map

Facilities:

Well maintained beachside park with children's playground. Dunningham Park is a large regional park located on the foreshore of North Cronulla beach. The park has a land area of approximately 8,808 square metres and is characterised by an open grassed area with tall palm and pine trees along the southern, western and northern boundaries. The children's playground equipment was upgraded in 2008. This park has limited boundary fencing along Elouera Road with ungated openings.

Just south of North Cronulla beach are 2 ocean baths that are accessible via The Esplanade pedestrian walkway.

The larger southern bath is most suitable for general swimming and lap swimming. The smaller northern bath is submerged at high tide and shallow at low tide and may not be suitable for use during these times. Please assess conditions at all times before using these rock pools.

The ocean baths are not patrolled by lifeguards.
