NSW Reads | Lucky's by Andrew Pippos
It’s a big book club, and everyone in New South Wales is invited.
The New South Wales Public Library Association is thrilled to announce the very first state-wide reading program, NSW Reads. Join with library members across the state this summer to read Lucky’s, the debut novel of Sydney author Andrew Pippos.
Get engrossed in this unforgettable and nostalgic saga set against the Greek diaspora and celebrate the heritage of the iconic Greek milk bars found in so many Australian towns and suburbs as well as the migrant experiences of food and community through a shared reading experience.
Join the Instagram read-along @nswlibraryevents, come to an online panel discussion on Greek-Australian milk bars past and present and attend a virtual author talk to hear Andrew Pippos tell the story behind the story.
