Former Par L’Oeil – To Form with the Eye
Felt-tipped pen, ink and vinegar on paper
In the grey area between the darkest shades and the lightest, the audience of an artwork is given room to interpret the distinction and definitions of the form. The sense of mystery is mirrored by the world in which we live, and the people that we are. It allows us room for error, and displays the uncertainty in our society. It is a truthful reflection of good and bad, honest and dishonest, light and dark. There is no clear distinction, allowing the individual to define the form for themselves. Ironically, this enhances the effects of the artwork for the audience.
