Escape Through Reflection

When I admire a landscape, is it something specific about it that appeals to me? Or something within me that responds to the scene? I have explored these questions by using a mirror to show both the landscape, and its reflection. While a traditional landscape shows a single point of view, the mirror allows us to see beyond that static viewpoint, introducing a more intriguing perspective on the scene. The occasional sight of a figure reflected in the mirror communicates the individual’s perspective, and the way the mirror frames the landscape suggests nature itself is a work of art.
