Ducdame: A Greek invocation, to call fools into a circle

Perception is knowledge. Truth is relative to each individual, a constant flux. Therefore an ideal understanding or definitive interpretation cannot be derived from a piece of artwork itself but rather varies depending upon the individual. I sought to create something that enables people to understand this truth on a visceral level, forging a platform from which contemplation is triggered, allowing the individual to enter into the temporal suspended world of the artwork and thus to self-reflect. This is done through the dominant use of white and the minimalist form.
