Jacaranda Cottage is an all girl youth refuge that houses females who are homeless or at risk in the shire. They house them for up to 12 months and in that time facilitate a living skills and personal development program. Our vision is to Impart Hope, Facilitate Restoration, and Celebrate Transformation.

My Foundations Youth Housing Ltd

Maximum number of participants: Single, shared and family living (1, 2 and 3-bedroom properties)

Age group: 16 to 25 years old

Program availability: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

Transitional Housing Plus (THP) – provides longer tenure and aims to ensure that young people are supported and housed affordably for up to 5 years. Referrals for THP should only be made for young people considered to have the desire, motivation and capacity to be live independently that includes keeping safe, managing their wellbeing and engaged in a daily activity that includes education &/or employment.

Affordable Housing - provides below market rental housing (up to 2 years) for those on moderate incomes, who earn at least some of their income from regular paid employment

St George Accommodation for Youth

Tenancy Case Work Support. Assisting young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness to find crisis or long term stable accommodation. To assist young people through case work to develop living skills associated with housing.

Y Housing

Maximum number of participants: 76 beds in total (crisis, medium, & long term)

Age group: 14-24 (14-19: crisis accommodation/16-24: transitional accommodation)

Program availability: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (after hours contact Link to Home 1800 152 152)

We offer crisis (ages; 14-19), medium and long term transitional housing (ages; 16-24) for people who are homeless. We also provide external case management support for at risk young people as well as early intervention group work in schools across the St George and Sutherland Shire area for young people who are at risk of homelessness.
