Infringements

Penalty Infringement Notices are issued by council officers acting under State Government legislation.

Once a penalty infringement notice has been issued the council can not cancel or waive the notice.

All payments and correspondence regarding infringement notices must be directed to the State Debt Recovery Office.

If you believe there are special circumstances that apply to you, or you wish to seek leniency, you can request a review from the State Debt Recovery Office, or consider the other options outlined on their website.
