Photographs of an offence
Council officers may take photographs of an offence to support the issue of a warning or penalty notice. Photographs are not the primary evidence and are not required by law in determining an offence. However, photographs may be used along with initial evidence as witnessed by the issuing officer and are subject to privacy and personal protection reviews prior to their release. If a photograph cannot be released, Council will advise you in writing.
How to request a photo
Photographs, if available, may be viewed on Revenue NSW website View photographs. They may also be requested via Revenue NSW at the same time as requesting a review. You can request a photograph using council's online form below, but ONLY if the information is not available on Revenue NSW website. If a request is sent through to council we will endeavour to respond to these requests within 21 days.
