Beaches

Cronulla's wide variety of beaches offer something for everyone. The beaches are one of the main attractions of the Shire.

The beaches to the north of Cronulla Beach are sandy and great for swimming in the surf and laying on the sand. South of Cronulla Beach the shoreline is rocky sandstone, and swimming is confined to ocean baths. Another option is Gunnamatta bay in the Port hacking river.
