What Do Level 1 Water Restrictions Mean for Sutherland Shire Residents?

Sydney Water has advised that Level 1 Water Restrictions are now in place.

We’re in one of the worst droughts on record and despite recent rain dam levels are still low. We all need to do what we can to save water because every drop counts. For the Sutherland Shire community Level 1 Restrictions mean a number of changes to the way you use water. What is Council Permitted to Do Under the Current Restrictions?

Severe restriction are in place, Sydney Water has granted Council some exemptions under the current water restrictions which will allow us to continue to maintain facilities and services for our community.
