This brand new playground was opened in late 2019 within the South Village Park at Kirrawee.
The play equipment caters for a wide range of ages and abilities, from toddlers to teenagers.
A circular bicycle path for young children and an 850 sqm playground catering for various ages are highlights of the park. It includes a climbing structure, adventure play area, swings and slides, a flying fox, half basketball court, handball and hopscotch zones, and fixed concrete table tennis tables.
The park features 2500sqm of grassed parkland surrounded by accessible pathways, picnic facilities, landscaping, shade structure, an amphitheatre, seating and trees for shade.
The park can be enjoyed by all members of the community, whether enjoying a picnic or family game of cricket on the lawn or exploring the playground.
Public toilets are available within the South Village shopping complex.
Council is currently running a competition to name this park via its Join the Conversation page.
