Gunnamatta Park, Cronulla

Location: Cronulla 39/41 Nicholson Parade View on map

Facilities:

Extensive park with 14 acres of land, a short walk from Cronulla train station. Gunnamatta Bay is perfect for parents with toddlers. It has large grassed areas, shade trees, a playground and a netted tidal bath. This beautiful beach is within an estuary, and as such there are no waves in the enclosed swimming area. The tidal baths are not patrolled by lifeguards. The park also features shelter sheds, disabled toilet and open air amphitheatre. Dogs are prohibited in the swimming baths. To hold a ceremony or have related photography at the park you must contact Council to make a booking.

Booking the park

Gunnamatta Park has 2 areas: north and south. When making booking enquiries specify which area you are interested in.
