Beach lifeguards, patrol times and surf safety
North Cronulla beach is a sandy beach with a rocky shoreline to the south.
Off the beach there are cafes and a kiosk. Behind the beach at Dunningham Park there is a grassed area and a large playground for children.
Just south of North Cronulla beach are 2 ocean baths that are accessible via The Esplanade pedestrian walkway.
The larger southern bath is most suitable for general swimming and lap swimming. The smaller northern bath is submerged at high tide and shallow at low tide and may not be suitable for use during these times. Please assess conditions at all times before using these rock pools.
The ocean baths are not patrolled by lifeguards.
