Youth Participation
Council recognises that young people are our future leaders and decision makers; so we are working with the community to support and engage young people.
We encourage young people in the Shire to actively participate in community life. Young people can do this by:
- undertaking work experience or student placement with council
- participating in council's volunteer programs
- joining Youth Council
- commenting on council's strategic documents and participating in consultations
- staying safe and getting involved in youth events and activities run by council and local youth services.
