‘The Mechanics of Motherhood’ – is a two part information session for women during and after the birth of their baby.

During the session, Matthew Breeds, a local chiropractor, will provide a brief look at the changes a women’s body goes through during and after pregnancy, a few common complaints, and what you can do to look after your back so you can enjoy motherhood to its fullest

This will be followed by Mandy Alexander-Gray. Mandy has been working as a full-time Remedial Massage Therapist for two and a half years and has obtained her Diploma from Loftus TAFE, and running her own business out  of Greene Chiropractic in Sutherland.

One of Mandy’s interests is looking after pregnant women through the use of massage. and has obtained a certificate in Pregnancy Massage, from Copeland College of Massage Therapy.

Pregnancy Massage is used in all stages of pregnancy and aids the woman to have stress points worked on and to relax, especially in the later stages, using gentle and appropriate techniques for each trimester.

Childcare is available at no extra cost.
