Access & Disability

Sutherland Shire Council is committed to providing a high standard of services for all  residents and visitors. We take an inclusive approach to enable access to the activities and services within our community.

A set of Accessibility Maps is available to show residents the most accessible public transport and walking routes.

Public toilets can be accessed using a MLAK Key that fits into specifically designed locks allowing 24 hour access.  Eligible people with a letter of authorisation from a doctor, disability organisation, local council or community health centre-can purchase a MLAK key. For information about where to obtain keys or locks within your local area, contact the Master Locksmiths Association of Australia on 1800 810 698.
