Interlibrary Loans

If you ask we may be able to purchase books and other items not listed in our library catalogue, or borrow them from outside our library service.

*Fees apply to requests for material not held in the Library collection. For a free alternative you may suggest material for the Library to purchase. You must be a library member to make a request or suggestion.

Suggest an Item for Purchase

What's the Difference?

When you make an interlibrary loan request we will make every effort to supply that item for you, based on the information you supply to us.  We will inform you when the item is available or if we cannot supply the material you requested.

Suggestions for purchase are assessed based on the library's Collection Management Strategy. The library may or may not decide to purchase your suggestion. Either way, we do not inform you of the result; it is your responsibility to check the library catalogue periodically to see if the item has been acquired.

About Interlibrary Loans
