Rhymetime and Lapsit
Rhymetime
Rhymetime is for babies 0-2 years old and fun-loving carers and includes:
- rhymes, fingerplays and songs
- puppets and props
- simple books read aloud
- participation with your child
- a FREE drop-in session (bring your singing voices)
Rhymetime is held at the following times:
Sessions are not held during the school holidays. There is a limited //area for prams
Lapsit program
Held at Sutherland, Cronulla and Engadine libraries, the Lapsit program includes:
- four weeks of weekly sessions
- holding baby on lap
- limit of 11 babies per session
- For babies 6-18 months
- early bookings essential.
Sutherland Shire Libraries' aim is to assist in the development of early childhood literacy.
Lapsit bookings are now open for terms 3 and 4. There are only 11 places in each program so bookings are essential. To book please call one of the following Libraries:
