Report It with Snap Send Solve

Whenever, wherever it suits you, use the Snap Send Solve app to tell us about issues in our community.

What can I Snap Send Solve the Council about?

Snap Send Solve can be used to report a problem such as a pothole, fallen tree, illegal dumping, request information or give us general feedback.

How does Snap Send Solve work?

The app is free to download on iPhone, iPad and Android devices. It lets anyone easily take a photo of an issue or provide general feedback, and immediately share with us so we can address the issue.

Once we receive your notification through Snap Send Solve, it will be processed by Council and you'll get a response as quickly as possible.

All details associated with reports sent from Snap Send Solve are shared from the app using your email address. This helps us get in contact with you and let you know when we've resolved the issue. 

What will happen with my enquiry?

Our responses will depend on the type of enquiry.  If you're:

  • reporting a problem such as a pothole or water leak, we'll email you a Customer Request Number - quote this if you have further enquiries about what you’ve reported.
  • reporting a compliance matter or asking about a confidential matter such as rates information, we'll email you asking you to call our Customer Service Centre on 02 9710 0333 - matters like these require our Customer Service Representatives to speak with you directly.
  • asking for information such as library opening times, an email will be sent to you with the details you’ve requested; if it isn’t a question we can respond to via email, we’ll ask you to call our Customer Service Centre on 02 9710 0333.

Please note: if your message is of an abusive nature, we will not respond to your enquiry.

How much will Snap Send Solve cost me?

The Snap Send Solve app is free to download and use on iPhone, iPad and Android devices, however may incur internet data charges.

How else can I contact the Council?

Is there a potential for requests to be delayed?

The Snap Send Solve app relies upon internet access. Delays in delivery of requests may occur and this is outside of our control... If your issue is urgent, please contact the relevant emergency service provider or phone our Customer Service Centre on 02 9710 0333.

What about emergency/disaster situations?

The Snap Send Solve app is not intended for use in the event of an emergency, such as during a cyclone, which can result in power failure, loss of mobile phone tower coverage and even loss of landline.
