State of the Shire report

Progress toward the vision and objectives outlined in the Guide is regularly measured and the results published in the State of the Shire Report.

Management Delivery Plan

Each year Council prepares a Management/Delivery Plan in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1993.

Housing Strategy

The Draft Housing Strategy aims to address future housing issues in the Sutherland Shire.

Integrated Planning & Reporting

Councils are required to develop a 10-year strategic planning framework.

There are things about Sutherland Shire we would never want to change. The Shire should be as safe, leafy and liveable decades from now as it is today. The directions in the Guide transfer directly into the Sutherland Shire Local Environmental Plan 2006 - the principal legal instrument that regulates environmental planning.
