The council issues quarterly instalment notices by mail. Payment is due on the following dates each year:
- 31 August
- 30 November
- 28 February
- 31 May
Please note interest charges may be payable if your instalment is not paid by the due date. Lump sum payments can also be made but must be made by 31 August to avoid interest charges.
Ways you can pay your rates.
Eligible pensioners and ratepayers suffering hardship may be entitled to rates assistance from council.

The amount paid for rates is determined based on your property value plus service charges for waste removal and stormwater management.
